ALWAYS A STEP AHEAD
The heart of VISIMMO 3D innovation is in three-dimensional real time visualization solutions, each with a certain level of interactivity.
Therefore VISIMMO 3D, recognized Young Innovative Company, wished to extend its expertise in the field of new technologies for visualization and 3D manipulation by participating in several research programs, hoping to contribute to the enrichment of the science community.
This positioning has naturally led us to dig into some areas of research related to spatial modeling, space simulation and user interaction.
• Modeling and space simulation

On the long term, the purpose is to have a tool to facilitate the arrangement of cultural, commercial and public facilities. This development process is divided into three parts: modeling (representation of the relevant criterias to adjust the position of a set of elements in a given space), layout (automatic positionning of a set of elements in this space with some constraints) , simulation (evaluation of the capacity and characteristics of a given arrangement for hosting people).
• User interaction

The objective is to improve user experience by making the interaction in a 3D space more accessible. Several options are possible, whether related to the input device (keyboard + mouse, touch screen, touch screen with stylus, gyroscopic input or accelerometer) or usage (explicit command, by objective controlling, guided tour).
• Automatic 3D modeling from 2D blueprints

In particular, to reduce our production costs, it would be very interesting to be able to automatically produce, from an architect's plan, part of the original 3D objects required in our process. Ultimately it would be possible to offer this opportunity to end users and professionals to develop 3D visualizations at a lower cost from simple plans.
